Winning condition: First player to get a kill on Golden Knife

Player ranking will be determined by (in the following order):

  • Weapon rank [1-16] descending
  • Number of kills descending
  • Number of deaths ascending

NB: The main CS:GO tournament will be paused to run the Arms Race tournament.

NB: Rules listed in this section are in addition to the Standard Tournament Rules.

General Map Settings

  1. Map: ar_shoots

  2. Type: Gungame Progressive

  3. Kills per weapon rank: 2

  4. Bots: disabled

  5. Timelimit: 0

  6. Max players per server: 16

  7. In addition to section 6.11, the following exploits are included:

    1. Any exploitation of clipping bugs (i.e. standing on invisible platforms).

  8. Where a server crashes, the match will be restarted.

Heats

  1. Depending on the number of players, there will be an equal number of players in each server.

  2. For example: if there's 39 players, they would be 3 servers of 13 players.

  3. The following number of players will qualify for the final round, dependent on the number of servers:

    • 2 servers: top 8 qualify

    • 3 servers: top 5 qualify

    • 4 servers: top 4 qualify

    • 5 servers: top 3 qualify

  4. If less than 16 players enter, they are no heats and just 1 final.

Player rankings

  1. Players are ranked by their weapon rank [1 - 16].

  2. The winning player is the player that obtains a golden knife kill on weapon rank 16.

  3. If players have an equal weapon rank, they are then ranked by the number of kills.

  4. If players have an equal weapon rank and number of kills, they are then ranked by the lower number of deaths.

  5. The tournament referee may allow an extra player to qualify to the final round or override the above ranking system.
