About FlatOut 2

FlatOut 2 is a racing video game developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by Empire Interactive.

It was released in 2006 and features conventional racing game gameplay, however Flatout 2 differs from most racing games by use of it's physics engine with each lap of a race being highly unpredictable from fallen debris to other players.

The game remains an extremely popular game in the LAN scene and thus has survived the test of time mainly because it is such a simple game to pick up and that anyone can play. It is also is a very competitive game.
